About Brent Sheppard

Brent is the founder and President of Xanatek, Inc. Originally employed as a P&C agent in South Bend, Indiana, I found that I had more fun playing with computers rather than selling insurance. In 1993, I started Xanatek as a computer consulting firm offering hardware, networking, internet service, technical support and more. After growing Xanatek to one of the premier consulting firms in northern Indiana, I sold all the divisions except the software development in February 2000. Xanatek is now focused on the development of Insurance Management Solutions (IMS). IMS is an affordable agency management system that specializes in small-to-medium sized insurance agencies. I frequently speak about the benefits of agency management software and has been recognized by national publications for software solutions in the insurance, imaging and office automation industry. Brent has 20+ years of experience in computer network design and implementation, custom software development, system management, hardware production, and as an Internet Service Provider.In my spare time, I do the good work of Rotary. I am a long time member of the Granger Sunrise Rotary and am very involved in the long term youth exchange program. Many things in Rotary get my time and passion, but at this time I am Chair of Central States Rotary Youth Exchange (CSRYE). CSRYE is a Multi-District exchange program that covers 19 Rotary Districts. Districts cover 9 states plus two areas in Canada. Specialties: Helping agents become more profitable through technology and agency management.
