What began taping together electrical parts in my father’s shed, soon evolved into electronics kits, and now 11+ years in various electrical engineering roles, including 4 years with the great people at PCE.Key skills include:~ Power system protection especially for Arc Flash incident energy.~ Power System modelling in ETAP & SKM PowerTools (PTW) including: Load Flow, Short Circuit/Fault Levels, Protection (coordination, TCCs), Arc Flash, Transient Stability, Harmonics & Flicker.~ Relay programming (incl. IEC61850 GOOSE messaging) and pre-commissioning/benchtop testing.~ Functional Specifications and Inspection & Test Plans.~ CT and cable selections.~ Some past experience with OH line design, earthing, and telecommunications.While my expertise and experience has largely been centred around the supply of electricity, my strengths also include the ability to: ~ Work effectively and positively in teams, especially with those with culturally diverse backgrounds.~ Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, including reports, specifications and procedures.~ Highly proficient in Excel (including macros & Power Query), Word, and Powerpoint.~ Falo bem português y un poquito de español.
