At BGSU, a Division I school with an enrollment over 30,000, I independently instructed undergraduate courses in academic writing, analysis and composition of poetry and fiction. I managed a classroom of 20 - 30 students, developing original syllabi, curriculum and projects for three unique courses. During my tenure, students in my classes achieved a 98% passing rate, well above the 90% average.

Mid-American Review is one of the premier literary journals in the country, publishing poetry, short stories and nonfiction. I advised the fiction editor and editor-in-chief regarding content of the magazine based on quality of submissions and solicitations, while also editing and proofreading all manuscripts accepted for publication.
