This is the biggest event venue we have on Grand Valley's Allendale campus. I was primarily in charge of making sure the event rooms were set up with all the equipment needed for each event. Also, if needed, I’m there to supervise the events. If no events are happening, I am in charge of managing the building as a whole, providing information such as building counts and maintaining the building throughout the day.

On Grand Valley's Allendale campus, I lead potential students to explore their future campus. While doing so, I maintain a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Within this job I learned how to efficiently communicated with students from various cultural backgrounds. I encourag families and students in decision making process of choosing a university as well. Throughout the day while not having to give tours, I complete necessary clerical work for the success of the office environment.

-As a summer events intern, my main responsibility was to assist with each event hosted at the DeltaPlex Arena, which included anything from political rallies, concerts, graduations, cheer competitions, and private parties. -One of my personal projects was our Summertime Jazz Outdoor Concert Series, where I was able to see it through from start to finish in the planning and execution process. -Along with that, I managed new and current event folders, distributed event details to each sector of the DeltaPlex staff, gained experience learning their ticket system and working the Box Office, and also helped with the overall set up and organization of any DeltaPlex event.
