Assumed commercial engineer project manager role for natural gas and refinery groups at MTR. This provided the opportunity for me to hone my construction experience and vendor management of the chemical industry. In addition, the role has allowed me to gain a better understanding of API and ASME vessel codes. My broad experience and attention to detail quickly allowed me branched out petrochemical and research and development areas within the company. - Spearheaded the construction of several low temperature natural gas membrane processing skids. Increased company margin by 16% and delivered custom chemical skids per schedule.- Managed difficult European customer for refinery group delivering product fabricated in Asia within scope and on-time. Kept customer and vendors accountable for schedule delays avoiding liquidated damages.

o Led cross functional team to design a new refractory liner configuration for a chemical reactor. Final design enabled fabrication of refractory liner that met process and thermal design targets. New refractory design remains in operations with no issues.o Managed direct reports to perform and present result from pressure drop studies to support risk reduction activities for programs.

o Directed decommissioning of pilot plant and catalyst production facility in coordination with landlord, fire department, Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) and decontamination contractor within the targeted time frame.o Managed team to reinstalled pilot plant at a new facility and achieved operational status 2 weeks prior to target schedule.o Leveraged SME’s of Computational Fluid Dynamics to manage design and construction of gas mixer. Results of novel mixer design has exceeded performance requirements and maintains in operation.o Oversaw and led the design, construction and commissioning of facility wide flammable and toxic gas sensor system to protect employees from chemical exposure. System has been functional for 4 years with no issues.o I managed employees to operate two pilot reactors which in turn resulted in shorter turnaround times between tests and longer operational time.
