Higher Level Productions was established in the winter of 2004, to help promote and expose local artists in and around the Santa Clarita Valley. The goal of Higher Level Productions is to produce high quality concerts, giving local artists the chance to play in front of their fans and represent themselves on stage with professional sound and lighting. Higher Level Productions has always been committed to the local music scene, and is know to be advocates for many of the bands that play for them. Higher Level Productions provides flyers and posters to all bands that are performing, free of charge to take some of the financial burden off the bands. HLP helps to market, promote and continues to help keep the local music scene alive. HLP has collaborated with Arts and Events of the City of Santa Clarita for the past 3 years by producing a youth concert series known as Third Friday (Suburbia). With the help of the City of Santa Clarita, Higher Level Productions has successfully thrown over 350 concerts in the SCV, always providing a safe and worry-free environment for music fans of all ages.Higher Level Productions also produces shows for an older 21+ audience at The VU Ultra Bar (formerly the Rendezvous) on the second and forth Friday of every month. Many of the shows are free of charge, and the shows always have good talent.
