Addition of Parachute Maintenance BuildingDollar Value: $ 5 MillionProject Superintendent and Site Safety & Health Officer on this project which involved a 2 story C130 pilot recreation facility and theater addition on the first floor as well as 2nd floor offices. This addition was situated and connected between two existing buildings. Also performed remodel of a parachute maintenance facility adding work area for maintenance and folding of parachutes. A monument was also erected at the entrance of the building in memory of Airmen who lost their lives in a downed C130 aircraft. The tight site and 2 operational buildings either end of new construction was a daily coordination task. Teaming and coordinating with users of the two adjoining buildings were very easy to work with allowing progression of our work without obstruction, or limitations.
