I was responsible for conducting information research under Professor Steve Utke regarding company taxes related to their foreign earnings. Specifically, I was looking at the SEC filings of publicly traded companies using EDGAR to see how companies were disclosing their exemption for unrepatriated foreign earnings and deferred taxes.Start: August 31, 2020End: December 17, 2020

We learned oral, written, and leadership skills that can be applied to any field. We learned how to draft legal memos and appellate briefs. We presented an oral argument for a faculty appellate panel.
