Collaborate with Corporate IT and Brewery Manufacturing Systems groups to optimize processes, applications, and technologies, and to generate practices and standards in forums/councils which are utilized to improve Manufacturing Systems performance and best practices. Work closely with Systems Engineers to support infrastructure integration into MES plant floor SCADA architecture and function as the technical lead for Windows Server, VDI, PC Support, Data Networking, and integration opportunities through active project participation in enterprise-driven capital projects impacting their brewery.• Revamped server patching to reduce necessary production downtime from 13 hours to 5 hours• Used PowerShell, SQL, VBA, Excel, and other programing and scripting languages to support daily and project related needs• Local IT lead on project to upgrade or replace over 1400 Windows 7 devices with Windows 10, the migration of over 1700 users, 300 system IDs, and 75 servers to a new corporate domain, and the upgrade and migration of 175 Wyse thin clients without disrupting production• Directly managed the technical and operational delivery of outsourced infrastructure products and services for assigned service domains, including service delivery, service level monitoring and reporting, capacity planning, and problem, performance, service request, and relationship management• Led 3rd party IT outsourcing partners and technology vendors to drive solutions and day to day support and drove the automation of various maintenance and monitoring activities for IT infrastructure• Provided leadership to the local brewery on IT processes, security policies, and change management
