I practice in Mintz Levin's litigation section, and have significant experience representing clients in the financial services industry as well as public companies and their officers and directors.I regularly defend clients in SEC investigations, FINRA inquiries and investigations, Department of Justice investigations, and in investigations by the Massachusetts Securities Division. I also have extensive experience successfully representing clients in private civil litigation and arbitrations (on both the plaintiff side and defense side) at the trial court and appellate court level. One thing I also really enjoy is advising clients outside of the litigation context, and I frequently advise public and private companies on corporate governance and compliance programs, and other risk management issues. I keep up to date on emerging trends and issues with respect to the securities laws as a co-editor of both the American Bar Association's Securities Litigation Journal and the Securities Matters blog (www.securitiesmatterscom).
