Work with the officers and Executive Committee to develop the City Bar's policy position on public issues and develop and implement the Association's organizational strategies. Together with the President, represent the Association and interface with the New York legal community. Lead and ensure the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities and long-term health of the City Bar, including overseeing the City Bar Justice Center, the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, the Small Law Firm Center, the Lawyers' Assistance Program, the Legal Referral Service and the Office of Diversity.

The MJFF Patient Council was established as a formal channel for the Foundation to solicit input from PD patients and the broader Parkinson's community. The Council advises the Foundation on programmatic fronts including (but not limited to) strategies to best convey patient priorities to the research community and its funders; content and emphasis for patient education and outreach relevant to MJFF's mission to find a cure; patient roles in developing novel ways to conduct research; and mechanisms for impact assessment.

Handled wide variety of issues including intellectual property, licensing, advertising/media, promotions/sweepstakes, regulatory, FDA and EU Cosmetics compliance, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Anti-bribery Act, employment, law department management and general corporate matters including negotiating/reviewing/drafting various types of contracts. Significant experience advising on diverse range of internet matters such as social media activity, web site clearance and domain name issues.

Formerly President-Elect of not-for-profit membership association of 5,900 trademark owners, professionals and academics, from more than 190 countries, dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property. Served in various roles as member and senior leader over the years. Responsible for policy-setting and other senior-level decisions of organization. Former chair of Pro Bono Task Force.

Leadership role in organization that recruits and trains volunteers to provide free civil legal assistance to low income clients throughout New Jersey. Served as co-chair of successful 2009 Gala and member of subcommittee developing strategic plan for organization.

Led 19-person department responsible for global trademark and copyright matters, including infringement litigation, anti-counterfeiting, business counseling, IP aspects of licenses and other transactions, clearances and filings for pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and animal health businesses. Received Wyeth Consumer Healthcare Innovation Award for proactive and business-focused advice that combined meeting business needs and stronger intellectual property protection.Designed, launched and served as director of Wyeth pro bono program, which received numerous individual and program-wide awards including 2009 New Jersey State Bar Association Pro Bono Award and Pro Bono Partnership Volunteer of the Year Award (2008).

Help lead pro bono and other volunteer efforts. Involved in advocacy that resulted in amendment to New Jersey in-house counsel rules making it easier for corporate counsel to provide pro bono legal services.
