He has over 25 years of business strategy and operations experience and an extensive background working with organizations in a range of industries (Healthcare, Finance, Energy, Transportation, Consumer Products). Bret has advised both public and private organizations in the US, UK, Middle East and Asia.Bret has a strong blend of business and technology skills and is experienced in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational effectiveness, operating model design and business start-up and operations. He has led and managed numerous teams to identify, analyze and solve client’s largest challenges in growth strategy, operational improvement and customer / patient experience. Bret has held interim senior level operating roles focused on identifying and recommending growth and cost reduction opportunities and helped implement those recommendations. Bret has been a regular contributor and subject matter expert for The New York Times, Bloomberg Radio, The Washington Post and Reuters. He speaks to global audiences on strategy, economics, transformation and digital healthcare. Bret holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an Electrical Engineering Degree from Montana State University. He has also completed the Henley Business School's Executive Education Program on Business Design and Operating Models
