Blackrock Australia was established in 2006 primarily to source income through a more tax effective way. Since inception, the "one man team" has completed several large projects. We have completed several conveyor installations and upgrades, gas monitoring system upgrades, H.V. Annual statutory tests management, Longwall move coordination, Electrical Training coordination, Electrical Projects, Tunnel Boring Machine compliance, Department Electrical coordination in all ares of underground coal mines to name a few. This was achieved by employing dozens of qualified and able tradespeople and managing these people and projects well. Blackrock Australia has established a solar farm, formed the DIAHMINCO Mining Company which was amalgamated with Pacific International Mining Solutions to become the PIMS group, created Mine Lease, a mining vehicle lease company. We have created Niugini Power Systems, a Papua New Guinean electrical contracting company with a switchboard manufacturing facility, fire alarm installation and repairs department, air conditioning and field maintenance capabilities along with other exciting ventures. We currently employ 54 nationals. We pride our business on teaching and promoting local knowledge and skills to leave a legacy in the local community.Within the mines in Australia we have been based primarily at Anglo American sites and have a great relationship with this great company and its people. We aim to continue this service through the hiring of quality people, performing business differently, maintaining client relationships through solid work foundations and further investing in the renewable energy production and distribution field.We have grid-connect solar installation and stand alone wind and battery system qualifications and are developing this ability to supply customers with cost advantaged products that are remote from the power grid and grid connected. Our company Sphere Energies will be tasked with this business unit.

I established Corador with another investor to supply quality electrical equipment to Coal Mines. We sucessfully created a line of products that were of high quality, in demand and were able to be supplied efficiently. The majority of our products were used in the development life cycle of the mines, roadway lighting and I.S. cables that were put into production with my specifications and built with Australian Copper in an Australian facility.I exited this company in 2024 due to a divergence of code of ethics with the other investor and to persue the growth of other Blackrock Australia Companies and Investments.

Constructed 30 KW solar farm to supply energy into the Ergon Network. This system was originally installed with German made Olmaier inverters which we found not to withstand the Australian conditions. The three 10KW inverters we use now are SMA Sunny Boy 10000 and have been virtually maintenance free since installation. One inverter did have a short from a nosy snake which we had to completely replace due to catastrophic failure. One of its bungs was left out which was later found to be the problem. A lesson learnt in time.
