Developing an autonomous UAV multi-modal system equipped with 3D LIDAR imaging for indoor search and rescue scenarios. Leveraging SLAM, Nav2, and A* path finding algorithms for navigation in GPS denied environments, generating indoor map models to guide first responders efficiently. Utilizing machine learning and image processing for target/human detection. Implementing embedded systems design for device communication via Linux OS and ROS2, and providing real-time visualization and mapping data to offboard stations. Successfully led Senior Design team to construct a fully functional implementation of 3D indoor mapping drone.

Successfully led Senior Design team in the construction of a fully functional 3D indoor mapping UAV (Unmanned Autonomous Vechicle). Utilized SCRUM method for multi-weekly meetings, ensuring optimal cooperation and communication between teammates. Able to instruct team members on the use of ROS and Linux OS, of which none had experience. Cooperated with SICK AG and implemented high quality 3D lidar (SICK multiScan100) for accurate data intake and environment mapping.

Worked as an Electrical Engineering intern on Siemens 2-Pole 3-Phase GFCI Circuit Breakers. Aided in general trip-threshold testing, troubleshooting, as well as temperature testing. Explored alternatives to faulty PCB components and assisted in determining working solutions. Tested various components including the onboard Microprocessor as well as operational amplifies, diodes, and resistors. Majority of debugging was completed by looking at test-point voltage pulses on oscilloscopes.

The SCRUM/Agile methodology was heavily applied throughout the course of the project. Utilized cooperation with a third-party data provider, and all work was supervised by the former CTO of Trafficware (a subsidiary of Cubic Corporation).
