My journey with ADS has provided me with extensive experience in a high volume distribution facility. Initially, I carried out all responsibilities within receiving, order processing, and shipping departments. While undertaking these duties, I was tasked with inventory control, and inventory reconciliation request. My ability to prioritize, and accurately correct inventory discrepancies allowed me to work directly with warehouse management.By assisting in an even greater amount of warehouse management task. I was assigned to continuous improvement projects at our distribution facility, performing non-leadership and leadership roles to complete tasks. These projects required managing independent and small team assignments to accomplish on time objectives. My largest, and most challenging project to date was our warehouse refit. While maintaining a fully operational distribution warehouse, I assisted in the management of the refit; In teams, I led the rearrangement of warehouse racking, bin standardization for bulk and regular merchandise, and warehouse slotting of our multi-thousand lined multi-million dollar inventory. The successful completion of this project lead to my advancement. As a purchasing agent, I was now a member of the operations management team. Here I learned and presented in small meetings about principals of purchasing, inventory management, supply chain management, and my company's philosophy to the dental profession. As a purchasing agent and operation management team member, we were tasked to increase our order fulfillment rate and reduce inventory carrying cost. Through extensive inventory analysis and proficient use of our warehouse management software. We met and passed sales and operation focused goals, 2015-2018.
