I was responsible for providing vision and strategy for the UK’s four creative departments: Network Creative, Commercial Services, Design Services and Production.My teams were responsible for the TCM movie channels in MENA and provide creative work for EMEA S&P campaigns. I had an additional remit to create local long form content for the channels.My key successes have been: - Developing Cartoonito into a coherent channel brand that was rolled out internationally- Creating and developing the Pets sub-brand for Boomerang that has been successful both in the UK and across Europe- Creating key and effective programming blocks across Cartoon Network (Laughternoons, Meaty Mondays, Funny Side Up) and Cartoonito (Dream Time) - Creating, developing and Exec Producing four original series The Insiders, Cartoonito Tales, Sounds Like Fun, and Childs Farm. These content pieces were developed to compliment the channels’ existing programme library. These shows have contributed to positive repositioning of the channels and been ratings successes.- As the UK and the Creative representative on a pan-EMEA Franchise Management board, I pulled together Programming, Marketing, PR, Creative and Sales to facilitate the launch of key shows Gumball, Adventure Time and Regular Show in the UK in line with an EMEA strategy.- Implementing a rigorous creative process where Turner previously had none. Briefs, creative responses and stakeholder participation are now a fundamental part of our creative workflow. - Founding member of Turner’s EMEA Creative Council, which provides a forum for the territories to discuss, develop and deliver shared creative work.- Managing teams. Over the past seven years I became highly skilled in change management. I pride myself on having created an ‘ideas factory’ mentality where Creatives, Designers and Production staff are all enabled to input into the creative process.

The series, Cartoonito Tales, is a a mixture of classic stories and fairy tales retold for Turner's pre-school channel Cartoonito.Each story is acted out by a young cast of 7-8 year olds who bring a charm and humour of their own to the tales. The series is narrated by Jane Horrocks.The first 10 eps were filmed and launched in 2011 in the UK, where the series has been a hit with children and parents alike. It has now aired across Northern Europe.We are currently filming a second series, with Peter Pan, Treasure Island and The Wizard of Oz amongst the new episodes. The latter two, I will be directing
