With over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, I am a passionate and driven rollingstock vehicle deaigner at Alstom. My current role is as an Engineering Product Manager working to deliver QNGR -AVP, where I lead the engineering team to ensure the technical solution meets the requirements of the specification and associated standards. In addition my previous role was the Industrial Design and Human Factors Manager Asia Pacific. Using my knowledge and skills from my time in the industry, my mission is to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions that enhance mobility and quality of life for people and communities. I have a strong background in industrial and product design, and I challenge ideas and norms to create value for customers and stakeholders.In my current role, I have led the development of the concept design and supported Engineering Subject Matter Experts through to detail design and manufacture of the QNGR - AVP project, which is a state-of-the-art electric multiple unit train for Queensland. I also played a major role supporting Transport and Main Roads with disability stakeholder engagement, engaging in technical feedback and workshops with stakeholders reviewing design suggestions and solutiins as to what is technically feasible within the existing vehicle and infrastructure constraints. I have worked closely with all stakeholders to achieve the project outcomes and ensure high quality engineering deliverables. Some of the skills that I have applied and developed in this role include challenge ideas and norms, technical leadership, logical approach, expert in application of DSAPT as applicable to rolling stock, industrial design and human factors.
