I have over 22 years experience in operational and managerial roles within the mining sector and have gained knowledge across a number of mineral commodities including gold, nickel, coal and mineral sands. I have held positions ranging from shift operator through to frontline supervisor and contract manager. Of recent times I have been engaged in strategic planning and long term optimisation of operations. Much of the work associated with the coal operations incorporated medium to long term planning and scheduling using Vulcan, Minescape, Xpac, 3D-Dig and Deswik.
