Acted upon routine and offbeat maintenance and community events during the summer months off from university. Directed a small crew of two high school students on various tasks for the 134 acres of park land over 8 separate parks. Jobs included park maintenance and upkeep, independence day fireworks show setup and cleanup, playground equipment installation and maintenance, soccer and baseball field upkeep and various jobs pertaining to the well being of the park and surrounding communities.

As apart of an internship opportunity, I was mentored on how to run my own business from the ground up and manage all aspects of it. Starting with sourcing leads by knocking on thousands of doors and making hundreds of cold calls in 5 neighborhoods, i obtained a list of interested clients looking for a exterior home renovation. Following up with clients, doing walk arounds of the property and estimating projects, I sat down with the client and explained the scope of the project and entailed all expenses tied to the renovation. Once a milestone was reached I hired employees and began production. Painting homes during the day and following up with clients for the following weeks projects, I closed the days by more marketing on potential homes in the neighborhood. Managing my expenses, I ended on my team of 11 to be a top earner with the highest profit margin. This experience proves to be one of the greatest achievements I have earned in my college career.
