I've always been a technology junkie. When I was eight, my father bought me a Texas Instruments TI994A, and from that moment on I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. My career has been long and varied, but always centered around tech: first starting as a cable modem installation specialist for Time Warner as they rolled out their first Road Runner broadband offering in the continental United States. Then as a programmer, designing, building, and supporting web-based applications that managed the company's core business needs, from tracking work orders to payroll, long before anyone had even considered the term "Web 2.0". Then working with a large brokerage firm to completely reform their software management practices in the wake of Sarbanes Oxley. After that, managing a corporate network and server infrastructure for a 400+ employee company based across eight cities in three states. To where I am now, designing, building, and supporting medium to large business access networks using the latest in FTTx technology.The world has come a long way since 1983, and I feel lucky to have been able to come along for the ride, and learn everything I can on the way. I support both our sales team and our customers, taking calls, solving problems, and most importantly, helping to create solutions that impress both our customers' IT team and the company board members.
