As a Sponsored Finance Specialist I am responsible for the review of sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with specific financial terms and conditions outlined in award documents as well as conformity with Federal Uniform Guidance and University policies. Specific areas of performance include review of invoices, line of credit draws, creation and submission of financial reports as specified by each sponsor, project closeout, and analysis of award expenses for allowability, allocability, and necessity. In addition, I provide leadership, service, and advice to department personnel with respect to their management of the financial aspects of their awards, particularly relative to compliance issues.

Assist in the creation of financial documents for multiple faculty members, aid in submission of grants, complete human resources transactions such as hiring, firing, and managing student positions.

Manage Policy Analysis and Management's website content, website accessibility, provide faculty support, and complete financial reimbursements. Currently I'm working on our departments website making it more accessible through Siteimprove.

Provided a large range of support, to human resources, international affairs, and the Dean's office. Originally I was hired to convert the Dean's office physical files into digital files, from there I started to support international affairs where I created new hire packets for new interns and residents of the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. While at the Vet college I also did a college wide audit of data and phone line usage. This project resulted in a large number of phone/data ports to being shut off saving the college a fair amount yearly.
