I filled in part time for a vacationing traffic anchor. I was responsible for generating and delivering timely and accurate traffic reports on both Baltimore and Wilmington Metro area roadways every ten minutes. In addition I often engaged in witty banter with the afternoon drive show disc jockey. I produced and voice-tracked the evening shift using Media-Touch software. I interacted with station listerners and edited and aired their calls using VoXPro edit.

I am serving as an intern for the award winning Laurie DeYoung Morning Show on WPOC-FM. I record and edit audio content for the show and for the show archives. I assist the show's producer in the production of the next days show. I also sit in with the different personalities to observe how they write, voice and edit commercials and promo's. In the promotions department I contact contest winners, arrange prize packages and manage web content. I also go out on location with the on-air personalities to concerts to help promote the station.

As an intern I performed tasks of an associate journalist in the WNEW newsroom. I set up stories, made follow up calls, and wrote copy for anchors. I went out with reporters and on my own to gather sound for stories. I also wrote and produced one weekend feature story a week.

At WHFC I held an unpaid, volunteer position in which I produced and hosted a weekly one hour radio show. I assisted in the production and voicing of Public Service Announcements and Promotions that aired on WHFC and whfc911.org. In addition I generated and distributed content on the WHFC Twitter page.

Wrote Press Release's for the the schools website as well as wrote for the DailySON paper. Marketed the John Hopkins Nursing magazine to Hospitals and Medical institutions across the country. Generated and distributed content on JHUSON's social media platforms via Hootsuite. Freelanced for JHUSON during January 2012 and August 2012 to write social media marketing plan. Freelanced in January 2013 to study JHUSON media coverage using Meltwater News.
