I was most recently a senior software engineer with Collins Aerospace working on display applications for fixed wing aircraft. My primary role on the team was doing Ada and Model Based development for the various platforms that we support. I primarily supported the P-3, KC-135, and C-130 aircraft, acting as a technical lead for the code bases on our P-3 programs by assisting other teams in debugging issues that can potentially impact displays, and also helping new members of our team learn these systems. I also supported these platforms in a more managerial sense by communicating with program managers and customers to reach design decisions, discussing and altering the schedule, and delegating tasks to other engineers on my team.I graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a 3.54 GPA, with my senior design project being the development of a multi-robot mining system that was used to compete in NASA's annual robotic mining competition. My main interests lie in embedded development and high level software development. I have had experience with both the more business oriented side of the computer engineering field, and the actual development of high and low level software that encompasses the engineering aspect. By far, my interests are within actual engineering, and the creative process of developing a new piece of software or hardware is extremely fulfilling for me.
