State of Texas Department of Transportation; Project I-69, Fort Bend County, Rosenberg, Texas. From west of Reading Rd to west of FM 2559 (156 Million). Widening of a freeway facility. This project consisting of grading, cement treated base, continuous reinforced concrete pavement, bridges, CTMS, storm drain, signing, pavement marking, lighting and traffic signals. I was the chief inspector and utility coordinator in charge of managing an inspection staff and concrete testing personnel for inspecting and testing scheduling. Duties included documentation and quantification of the contractor’s daily activities inspecting telecommunications, gas and electric. I was also responsible for conducting and documenting utility installations as required by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Utility Cooperative Management Process, TxDOT Utility Manual, TxDOT Manual of Uniform Traffic Control as well as federal and state utility accommodation policies and regulations.

Harris County Toll Road Authority Harris County Toll Way; Section 801 (27.5 Million) and Section 802 (39.4 Million) of the Tomball Toll Way Project, Tomball, Texas. These projects involved the building of five bridges, approximately 6 miles of new freeway, new sign structures, high mast illumination, tolling infrastructures, and a seven acre detention pond. Activities that were inspected include: prep ROW, embankment, retaining walls, storm drain, sub-grade, treatment, sub-grade base, bond breaker, continuous reinforced concrete pavement, tolling fiber, traffic signal control (CCTV), and toll plazas. I was responsible for documenting daily activities and measuring and tracking quantities for pay items. My duties include review of plans, specifications, and inspection of drill shafts, columns, caps, bridge decking, bridge deck reinforcing.

NTTA Chisholm Trail Parkway New Construction of $123 million of 0.9 mile six lane toll way on State Highway 121 / Southwest Parkway, Section 1 in Tarrant County from IH 30/Summit Avenue to Rogers Road, consisting of grading, drainage, structures, concrete pavement, walls, illuminations, signs and sign structures, pavement markings, traffic signals, its infrastructure, landscape, irrigation construction and maintenance period services.I was responsible for Inspection, documenting and payment of storm drainage and walls.

NTTA President George Bush Eastern Extension Project, Dallas, Texas;The general scope of the project is new construction of $57 million of 2.6 miles of six lane toll way of the North Texas Toll way Authority, NTTA. The project includes major mass earthwork, sub grade improvements, storm drain installation, mainline toll gantry and ramp gantry, roadway lighting, fiber optic communication “backbone” and construction of multiple MSE walls and two multi-span structures. Duties included documentation and quantification of the contractor’s daily activities. Primary activities that were overseen included; all storm drain construction, all earthwork, installation of Moisture Treated Sub grade, MTS, lime and cement stabilized sub grade, Cement treated base and HMA base placement. Also responsible for placement of continually reinforced concrete pavement.

Katy Freeway (IH-10) Reconstruction Program, Houston, Texas Senior Utility Inspector / Coordinator responsible for inspecting telecommunications, gas, electric, City of Houston water and sanitary sewer utility construction on the $411-million utility relocations planned for the expanded IH 10 Katy Freeway. Duties included review of plans, specifications, and inspection of utility relocations of over 45 individual utility companies with facilities to be relocated on this 25-mile project. I was responsible for conducting and documenting utility installations as required by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Utility Cooperative Management Process, TxDOT Utility Manual, TxDOT Manual of Uniform Traffic Control as well as federal and state utility accommodation policies and regulations.
