From a young age Brett has always been a budding entrepreneur with a vision to succeed. From starting his first business at the age of 12 cleaning cars to now been a multi business owner and winning many prestigious awards.To date Brett has set up more than six businesses and has proceeded to sell two of these, continuing to reinvest and expand his core businesses:Brett runs two award winning event businesses and a green field Tipi venue based in York: Garden Weddings Tipi Hire, 24 Live and Skipbridge Country Weddings.Brett started his event career 10 years ago while studying a music production degree at Leeds College of Music. During his second year at university he started out DJ'in and performing (Acoustic Duo) at Weddings and Events. Fast forward to the present day and Brett and his Colleague Andrew have won prestigious awards such as 'The Wedding Industry Awards' in 2016 and 2020 for best acoustic performers in Yorkshire and the North East.Garden Weddings delivers Luxury Tipi weddings and events throughout Yorkshire. As a rapidly expanding company, Garden Weddings is creating opportunities for employment in the events industry in the Yorkshire region. Garden Weddings have created multiple packages for brides and other clients, making planning an outdoor wedding much simpler. Working at prestigious venues throughout Yorkshire such as: Cannon Hall Parklands, The 3 Acres, Bowcliffe Hall, Yorebridge House and many more... Throughout developing Garden Weddings, Brett has joined the Skipbridge Country Weddings team based in York. Boasting a unique venue close to York City Centre. Skipbridge Country Weddings hosts Tipi weddings and corporate events from the start of May until the end of September. Skipbridge has many unique features: A hobbit hole, One of a kind grain silo, Get married legally outdoors under the Willow Tree & meet the Skipbridge animals. With accommodation that can sleep up to 50 people, cottages, hot tubs, glamping & rustic pods. Skipbridge is the perfect place to host your event.Brett is also an avid property investor, from buying his first BTL back in 2014.
