Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated in understanding money and how it works. That passion ultimately led to a career in banking and commercial real estate where I used an artboard of spreadsheets and numbers to paint stories of the past, present, and future. In the first 11 years of my career, I served as a Vice President of PNC Bank’s Commercial Real Estate team. It didn’t take long for peers and superiors to see my willingness to learn, be accountable, and to perform at a high level. This skill set led into increased responsibilities and opportunities; including participating in several bank merger and acquisition projects, leading new software procurement and testing efforts for my team, and being routinely summed by another bank division to help with special due diligence projects. In my primary role, I helped structure and underwrite over $1 billion of loans for Class A commercial real estate properties located throughout the United States. Responsibilities included a thorough review of all properties, borrowers, tenants, and markets to identify any potential risks to the bank in all lending decisions. My favorite real estate deal to underwrite was the W Hotel located in Hoboken NJ. Not only did I build life-long friendships and connections during my time at PNC, I also built a strong financial and business foundation. In 2018, I made the decision to take the entrepreneurial path and became part of a new startup company, Dash Now. As a co-founder and Vice President of Dash Now, I am responsible for overseeing Dash Now’s overall business operations strategy. Dash Now is a software company with the goal of disrupting the restaurant industry by allowing people to pay at a restaurant using their own mobile phone. This makes payments more convenient, efficient, and secure. Dash Now also offers a seamless loyalty program and modern dashboard that allow restaurants to better spend marketing dollars and increase revenue.
