I'm a reporter and editor for modern times, having filled an array of roles in every newsroom I have been a part of. In many cases, I have had my hands in every step of the operation: assigning, reporting, editing, web production, social media promotion, recruiting, managing — you name it. I am comfortable working in a number of subject areas and handling several types of content, whether news or features, whether online or in print.I spent the last several years focused on the front end of the editing process, pitching and assigning stories, working closely with reporters and overseeing a team.
