As the Operations Service Manager for all technology in Allstate’s product department, I am accountable to identify, influence, & execute strategies that drive Continuous Service Improvement. I manage both the day-to-day functions & strategic direction of my front-line team. We work directly with customers via phone, chat & email to solve their technical issues. My responsibilities include hiring, performance management, talent development & final accountability for the team performance. I maintain & develop relevant partnerships with offices across the United States & overseas to better serve our customers. Key strategic accountabilities include proactively growing team footprint to increase customer satisfaction across a variety of products. I lead a program to identify & onboard new work opportunities for the team, resulting in expansion that grew the team from less than 30 full time employees to over 40.

I worked on a delivery team as well as a core enterprise process team. For delivery work, I supported our business partners by initiating the Software Development Life Cycle. This work involved determining the scope of a project, identifying requirements, estimating the costs, and planning for a successful project delivery. In my other role I worked as the metrics lead for enterprise release management. Utilizing the framework of IT Service Management best practices, this work involved developing metrics that were useful for operating successful code releases, as well as measuring the success and impact of a particular release. In addition to producing the metrics, I delivered the results and presented the impacts to key stakeholders and senior leaders.
