Nelson Mandela once said, "There is no passion to be found playing small--in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." This quote has inspired my approach to life. I bring passion, hard work, critical thinking, and a wide breadth of unique professional experience to any team I become a part of. I started my working career at 17 when I was hired on at a groccery store as a cashier. I worked in customer service, eventually becoming the Assistant General Manager of a Walgreens, before graduating with my B.B.A. in Finance from Sam Houston State University in 2019. Those 6 years of retail and customer service experience built the foundation for my post graduation professional career. The strongest skill of which is my critical thinking, as quick and efficient decision making is imparative in retail, especially in management.In 2019 I got hired by BNY Mellon as a trust associate, and thus, kicked off my professional finance career! I love finance, and now I am proudly employeed as an associate Financial Planner at Paragon Financial Advisors. I dream big and work extremely hard to insure that I WILL NOT settle for a life less than I am capable of living.
