Building Design / Architectural Drafting

Drafting preliminary, contract, working drawings and performing computations to develop and design detailed specifications of dwellings. This including client and builder liaisons and conferring with other staff regarding build-ability or to resolve any design problems.

Design draft and draft details for (steel) construction purposes for onsite references for builders and surveyors. Design and document computations for structural members for all aspects of construction for clients and surveyors

Scheduled monitored and inspected all jobs for team members within the design-drafting department.Design draft-working details for the production of trusses and frames to suit clients, Australian standards and specific design standards.Company’s senior detailer being involved in board meetings to discuss and review current design issues.Assisted sales staff and building supervisors with design enquiries.Maintain a steady gross profit including maintaining the production schedule and monitor production levels to maximise output.

Responsible for design draft-working details for the production of roof trusses, wall frames and posi-strut floor systems. Draft details for construction purposes for onsite references for builders and council surveyors. Onsite representation for construction issues and site measurements for pre drafting. Meeting with and estimating all items requested by client. Accurately prepared quotes with client for purchase of design products
