As Senior Vice President for Gilbane Building Company, I have the responsibility for driving consistency and excellence for regional operations throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Under my leadership, the Columbus office has been consistently named the No. 1 Commercial Contractor by Columbus Business First.I joined Gilbane as a project engineer in 2000 and have held various roles throughout my career including project manager, superintendent, project executive, operations manager and business unit leader.I have more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, and have worked on a variety of project types and market segments including the $126 million Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Chemistry Building (CBEC); Recreation & Physical Activity Center and Larkins Hall; and Smith Laboratory Rehabilitation projects for The Ohio State University; Grange Mutual Insurance’s Corporate Headquarters; Huntington National Bank’s Rebranding Program, Abercrombie & Fitch’s Headquarters and Distribution Center and the Battelle Memorial Institute Center for Life Sciences project.I am the vice chairman of the ACE Mentor Program of Central Ohio, a Builders Exchange Outreach Speaker, a member of the inaugural classes of both the Builders Exchange RisingLeaders and Executive Leadership programs, and a 3 time recipient of Gilbane’s Excellence Award.
