Brett Mitchell is the Managing Director ANZ at Intrepid Travel, a purpose-driven tour operator and the world's largest adventure travel company. In this role, Brett oversees Intrepid's sales, marketing, product and operations strategies in Australia and New Zealand. Brett is also responsible for leading the development of Intrepid's local investment companies, including Haka, ANZ Tours, JOOB, and CABN, and serves on the Chimu board, contributing to the company's strategic direction. With over 15 years of experience at Intrepid, Brett has held various roles, as well as serving on the Intrepid Foundation’s Board where he actively contributed to the company's philanthropic initiatives. Prior to joining Intrepid, Brett worked in London for over 5 years, leveraging his expertise as a Chartered Accountant. During this time, he successfully led several debt raisings, participated in numerous M&A transactions, and was involved in an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange. Brett recently served on the CATO Board for 6 years before joining as a Director for ATIA. Brett loves all things travel, visiting all 7 continents in the past few years. Naturally curious, Brett keeps busy with a young family, being involved in sporting clubs and planning his next travel adventure.
