The key responsibilities in this role were many and varied, and included:- Conducting outreach education and support through local ATSI community forums- Conducting in-service training to both ATSI & mainstream health workers- Conducting information sessions for ATSI at risk groups- Coordinating the implementation of education campaigns, events and promotions- Liaising with other ATSI health services, at a local, state and national level- Providing advocacy and referral for target populations within the ATSI communities- Contributing to the strategic development of the program- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of ATSI health issues- Contributing to planning and policy development.
