Mr. Norwich’ expertise is competently originating, structuring, and executing targeted investments in small and mid-sized companies. Norwich is passionate about mergers and acquisitions where there is an opportunity to grow revenue and profits. His talents include an in depth understanding of key micro and macroeconomic issues that affect the long-term success of companies and is typically involved in drafting and implementing profit improvement plans. He also is successful in managing people and complex processes. Mr. Norwich allocates capital and resources to attractive opportunities. His background is in entrepreneurship, banking, finance and operations. Out of undergrad, he worked for a start-up company in Carlsbad, California before moving to Chicago, Illinois in 2003 to take a banking job at ABN-AMRO North America. From there he went on to business school, took a position with Citigroup Global Markets in New York City and eventually landed in high-yield debt with Denali Capital in Oak Brook, Illinois. There he managed a portfolio of non-investment grade term debt.But Mr. Norwich felt strongly that he needed to break out of “cubicle” life and in 2008 he utilized a modest sum of start-up capital to engage in some real estate and operating companies in West Texas. He eventually opened up a small private equity office in Chicago, Illinois. There he and his team focused on the acquisition of operating companies producing between $2.0 and $5.0 Million in EBITDA and also financed and led over 12 commercial real estate projects. Mr. Norwich grew up in Southern California. He majored in finance and accounting at Baylor University and earned an MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. His passions are travel, snow skiing, golf and classical guitar.
