The Island Storm is a professional sports franchise playing in the National Basketball League of Canada. In my role with the Storm I handle all forms of media, corporate partnerships, and community involvement. On the technology front I manage the social media pages, website, and produce graphic designs. I work with the players and coaching staff to develop a public relations schedule and organize their visits to different events in the community. The role also requires me to handle press releases on any player signings, trades, game updates, or major announcement. With this being a public brand, I manage the team’s advertising budget. In addition, I work with businesses to develop partnerships between the Storm and their brand.

Bell TV1 is the leader in sports webcasting in Atlantic Canada. When working for Bell TV1 I do play-by-play and colour commentary for the network. I’ve hosted the Island Dodgeball Championship, AUS Curling Championships, PEISAA Basketball Championships, Maritime North Hockey Championships, Island Junior B Hockey Title, the U18 Atlantic Curling Championships, and the U21 National Fast-pitch Championships.

The Holland College Student Union represents thousands of students across several campuses on Prince Edward Island. The role of Director of Communications involves attending sporting, musical and educational events for public relations. I managed the Facebook and Twitter accounts at the school and sat on the board of directors in the union as part of the job.

Sheridan Hoops is the Web's leading independent basketball site. I began working with Chris Sheridan (formerly of ESPN) on his new website covering all aspects of the National Basketball Association (NBA). My duties began as weekend volunteer in the first three months. In October 2013, I was offered a job as a lead writer to manage the NBA Rumours and News page on the website. My duties include following news and rumours from around the league and posting a small story on what has occurred.

The Journal Pioneer is a landmark newspaper in P.E.I, serving Prince County since the 1800's. I was hired as a freelance journalist to work weekdays, evenings and weekends. Duties I performed included interviewing, writing, press release writing, photography, and updating the social media and website platforms.
