My wife and I lived in Ngong Hills Kenya managing the construction and personnel development for the Vapor Gichagi Center. We hired and trained a group of 14 local Kenyans to oversee the Gichagi center which included a sports league, a child sponsorship program, Biblical discipleship, and other humanitarian aid initiatives. After two years in Kenya we moved to the Vapor headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama where I was given 2 different roles over a period of 5 years: Discipleship & Aid Coordinator and Site Manager. These roles involved creating systems to streamline the international centers programs, training & developing center staff, providing financial accountability, and managing key relationships/partnerships.
