-Promoted to Senior Business Analyst after 22 months.-Automated reports and processes using SQL, VBA, SAP Script and ColdFusion saving 1900+ FTE hours.-Implemented process to import Geotab GPS data into a SQL database via Microsoft Access. Building SQL reports to update Geotab’s system via an API. This work enabled insourcing of the data integration and will save $30K a year when the fleet is fully outfitted with Geotab. By leveraging Access updating our SQL database and updating Geotab’s system can be done by Fleet’s admin staff saving time for 100+ FTE hours a year for the analyst team.

-Facilitated Fleet’s accounting process and developing new reports for IFRS 16 compliance. Fleet was the only team in TELUS to achieve 100% reporting accuracy in the first quarter after IFRS 16 was implemented.-Created a new internal auction process leveraging SAP ARIBA to sell vehicles direct to TELUS contractors. These internal auctions generate $320K in salvage revenue which was $190K above the expected market value of the vehicles.-Analyzed RFP proposals from three vehicle leasing vendors and developing a lease cost forecasting model used by Fleet manager and Procurement SVP to award $16M in annual spend -Integrated data from multiple sources into a single SQL database using Microsoft Access as a front end. Creating tools and forms in Microsoft Access for non-SQL users to increase efficiency and automate their daily tasks including vehicle record creation, AP Gateway invoice validation and automated SQL Reports. -Developed the backend of a new web tool to automate the vehicle replacement process using Agile methodologies and SQL programing. Programing new functionality using ColdFusion and Access VBA. After implementation web tool increased vehicle ordering by 68%, saved 500+ FTE hours, delivered $840K in lease savings and is accessible in English and French. -Managed the $3M heavy vehicle capital replacement program. Finished 2018 with a 0.6% variance from the budget and 2019 with a 0.1% variance. Repatriating work that was previously outsourced saving TELUS $30K a year. Built relationships with vendors and TELUS field staff while developing a new combo bucket truck vehicle spec to be implemented in Western Canada. -Supervising vehicle registration, insurance and other document distributions across Canada. Automated the creation of the distribution lists using TELUS personal and vehicle data. Insourced work saving TELUS $40K a year.

-Enhanced the forecast process through the automation of new KPI reports, leveraging data from 4 data cubes via SAP Analysis for Office tool and 4 custom BOBJ Webi reports to provide insights, visibility and historic trends into new business areas to assist team with surpassing budgets and soft revenue targets. -A&I CoE Analyst, developed and maintained a weekly CoE status update to measure activity and impact stats.-Enhanced Waterfall forecast report to allow for quicker production by eliminating 50% of the manual work therefore minimizing the chance of human error and allowing the presentation of more information in different output styles. -Analyzed KPI’s and developed processes for SAP Cloud Platform’s inaugural demand generation councils. Supporting initiatives from these councils to increase quality and quantity of pipeline. Assisting in the ordering of the hardware and peripherals used in the hardware installation to ensure limited waste.-Collaborated on a model which allowed for managers to see the effects that changing several variables had on the NBV/Acquisition value ratio up to three years into the future. The model accurately forecasts the makeup of the fleet, accounting for replacement based upon odometer reading and age, allowing for the users to adjust variables to look at the change it makes to the NBV/Acquisition value ratio. -Carrying out internal checks that allowed for cost cutting recommendations to be presented and implemented.-Developing automatically populating forms in Excel in order to turn manual processes into automated ones through the use of formulas and VBA.-Co-produced a report to be used by the Fleet Maintenance Superintendent and the Power Workers Union to ensure that the work being performed by the Fleet Maintenance staff and the work being outsourced was in accordance to the union agreement.-Redefining processes in order to ensure efficiency and accuracy, then writing a job aid for future employees to follow the same process.
