My career in finance management began with AutoNation as the company’s youngest Finance Director and top producing Finance Manager for import brands on the west coast. After three years of transformative success at each of my locations I was tasked with lifting two struggling stores simultaneously. With my direction and a staff of 15 finance managers divided between two stores both locations saw a massive improvement in profits and customer satisfaction with one of my locations winning a company wide performance competition which included over 150 of Autonation’s Stores. My decorated career continued joining Yark Subaru, a recipient of Time’s coveted Dealership of the Year award. In my first year as director, as result of my process, Yark Subaru catapulted from 6th place in Subaru’s warranty competition to winning our zone and placing second in region out of 42 other Subaru stores. For this achievement, as well as nearly doubling the profits of my department I was awarded Yark’s Finance Manager of the year award and as of Q3 2024 Yark Subaru has been a distant first in every Subaru warranty competition since. Director Of FinanceAutonation May 2018 - Aug 2018Ford Tustin, Infiniti TustinThis position was created specifically for me to address two underperforming stores and provide a lift for the Orange County market. I identified the areas of opportunity at both locations and implemented different plans to address each location’s unique issues. Infiniti was not fully utilizing their lender portfolio and was struggling with their contracts in transit due to having to monitor multiple programs including an antiquated manufacture portal. I worked with the sales managers to increase retail finance deals and with daily training Infiniti Tustin saw a 20% lift in profit. To address their CIT issues I I programmed a custom Excel sheet which automatically downloaded, concatenated and cross checked against their ADP report and used the extra time for further training. Ford Tustin had their accounting side clean but their finance department struggled with morale and were limiting their profits because of this. To show them my goals were achievable I spent the first month intermittently taking deals and having each team member shadow me. This plus additional training resulted in Ford Tustin winning a competition for greatest overall lift for all of AutoNation raising the profit per contract $664. Efficiently managed my productivity to serve both stores equally well -
