In this role, I coordinated parallel projects including the development of phase noise methodology, generation 4 peripheral component interconnect express (PCIe) testing, and automation tools for I2C and SPI communication protocols. By partnering with system integration team and with vendors, I was able to put contingency plans into place to overcome project deficiencies. -
Pixel Hardware / Electrical Engineering Lab ManagerGoogle Jun 2018 - Jun 2019Mountain View, Ca, UsAs the Lab Manager, I was in charge of all of the lab operation processes and participated in all phases of system and application development life cycle from requirements analysis through implementation. Not only did I test performance to craft solutions to potential bottlenecks but I also oversaw a $6M budget and relocated the laboratory from one building to another. That was a huge project that involved overseeing the lab buildout for 3 shield rooms, bluetest, and over the air (OTA) chambers that provided increased testing capacities and thermal chambers. In fact, the new space required new staff. I was already in charge of training and coaching a team of 8 staff members (2 FT and 6 Temp). After we moved to the new lab, I sourced, hired, and onboarded new staff that effectively tripled the size of the team within 1 year.
