The data was enriched, normalized and mapped to the International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, (ICDO). Hierarchy. High value attributes including patient response, genomic profiles, comorbidities and outcomes.TRA contains 500,000 patients, 40 domains of data, 2000 attributes and is updated in a near real time basis from our EPIC EMR. Several public datasets have been integrated including TCGA and COSMIC.TRA is the key piece of the infrastructure that will enable PIs, Moon Shot and MD Anderson users to analysis and visualize data in new and innovative methods. Created and integrated a custom analytic tool called the Virtual Workbench (VWB) that uses Boolean logic to create complex queries, ability to map to a timeline, that utilize drag and drop functionality.Integrated Tableau and CBIO into the environment.Utilized a secured container for access of data with two factor authentication as needed.This TRA platform is the largest in the world that brings clinical, research and molecular data together on one platform.Implemented the MD Anderson Oncology Expert Advisor, (OAE) powered by IBM Watson for the Leukemia and Lung Cancer Divisions at MD Anderson. The solution utilizes Natural Language Processes (NLP), IBM Watson Core Analytics pipeline and private external data cloud. Manage and coordinate the activities of over 100 consultants and MD Anderson employees.Manage a budget of 50 million dollars.
