ANZ.com CMS upgrade – IBM Web Content Management system upgrade and re-platform.• Technical lead, responsible for design and development of key software infrastructure “WCM publisher” - a multithreaded Java application. This connected the new Solaris/WCM 7 infrastructure to the existing legacy web servers. • Leveraged low level Java APIs to extract fresh content out of the workflows and publish the new pages onto the www.anz.com global website.• 32,000 pages migrated from WCM 6 to WCM 7. Scale, infrastructure, performance issues involved. Extensive URL rewriting employed.• Involved right from inception, architecture, work allocation, Agile process inception, showcases, story breakdown, estimation, testing, environments setup and final installation. • Have intimate knowledge of hardware and software infrastructure components and abilities.• Worked closely with external CMS specialist vendor throughout the project - CertusSolutions.com.• IBM Web Content Manager 7 deployed on a Solaris Websphere Portal 7 cluster.

Started as a graduate Developer in Branch systems development.Looking after PC software for AU and NZ branches. Around 8000 machines and 1000 branches. • PUP (Platform Upgrade Program). A change management and software release scheduling tool. All branch software releases are managed through this. Uses ASP, Scripting, IIS and SQL server. I architected and wrote this whole application. Replacing an aging MS Access database (augmented by several spreadsheets), and allowing management of software releases. It has been used to manage all BSS releases to Australia and NZ branches since. (2002)• Windows 2000 software packaging. Building of MSI packages to distribute applications to the Windows 2000 network. I was building these weekly.• Participated in the year 2000 critical software updates and testing. Tested and updated several applications. All work completed ahead of schedule. • Jetform Print Server, ongoing installation and configuration. As used in all branches. (1996)• Conversion of Outward Dishonors from OS/2 to windows. Complex conversion and enhancement of an existing OS/2 C++ application. Required a change from DB2 to SQL server back end databases. Application was used in call centers. (1998) • Secured File Browser for branch staff. Installed a pure Java application onto the Branch Network to allow Branch staff to manage their own shared files and directories etc. Used in all branches right up until the replacement of the OS/2 platform. One of the first Java apps released inside ANZ. (1999)• Conversion of several OS/2 applications onto the windows 2000 branch platform. • Enhancement of problem tracking database and software release management tool. I updated an existing MS Access application, adding extra data and reports. (1996)• Branch PC platform for AU and NZ. Ongoing enhancement and support. Encompassing dozens of software release cycles.
