I am an experienced, multi-disciplinary corporate leader in the waste industry. With over 15 years of experience across sales, operations, procurement, and development, I have tackled complicated waste processing & disposal issues of all sizes. As Covanta's current Sr. Director of the Solutions Group, my role includes both customer-facing and internal work that stretches from corporate relationship management to individual project management, and from budget and contract management to internal tools/procedure creation. Covanta has taken steps to expand its number and diversity of waste treatment offerings, and my job is to work closely with our Sales Leadership to expand Covanta's position in the marketplace by offering more of a "one stop shop" for waste treatment & disposal. My experience in direct and indirect procurement allows me to set a baseline for, manage, and grow our relationships with 3rd party service providers that complement Covanta's business and provide an alternative disposal option to what Covanta's own facilities can provide.I am a detail-oriented professional with a talent for negotiating favorable terms, driving down cost, and improving workflow efficiency. My time working for both TerraCycle and Covanta has exposed me to some of the largest consumer product brands, as well as some of the largest manufacturing facilities in the world, and the waste challenges that they face every day. I enjoy the challenge of matching individual waste streams with a sustainable plan for managing that stream to its most efficient and sustainable end-of-life.
