I have been in the working environment for 9 years and gained valuable experience during my career so far. Initially I started off as a student advisor at a private campus (Varsity College) advising students what courses to study to reach their desired goals. Apart from helping young people make the right decisions about their lives I also learnt a lot about reaching targets and the importance of teamwork. After Varsity College I took up the challenge of working in one of Kwa-Zulu Natal's premium schools and worked in the marketing department. This included conducting presentations, developing brochures and adverts to media liaison which involved working with newspapers and other forms of media to publicize the school. I also facilitated with top profile learners in their media interviews of which some are now representing their country at national and international level.I am currently based at PKF Durban and am involved in the events planning, marketing initiatives, advertising and recruiting of new trainee accountants to the firm.
