I'm a web application architect and developer from Pittsburgh, PA with more than ten years of professional experience.My primary focus over the past four years has been JavaScript development, namely Node.js, React, and React Native. I'm also experienced with frontend development including HTML, CSS, and jQuery.I've done a substantial amount of backend work that has allowed me to become familiar with a number of different technologies and frameworks that aren't necessarily limited to web. I've dabbled in Bash scripting, Java, and numerous other languages as needed.At my first job I was promoted to Release Engineer and built a deployment system from scratch utilizing Ruby. Since then I've designed integrations and deployments utilizing Jenkins and later Travis.My collegiate training and first five years of my professional career revolved primarily around PHP. I still help maintain legacy PHP applications and can jump back into the space when needed.In addition to development, I have several years of experience managing software engineering teams.
