LMX was born out of the Network General Sniffer product. The business transitioned through many new products in the analysis space. LMX was the largest Packeteer Packet shaper reseller in South Africa for many years. Barloworld Purchased majority share in LMX in 1999 and we were responsible for monitoring and performance for the Group through multiple SAP and BAAN roll-outs within different divisions of the Barloworld Group. Proactive measurement and application profiling was done to ensure expected response times on deployment. In 2007 Barloworld announced an unbundling strategy at which time LMX found a new home at EOH.At this point I decided to exit the business and pursue other opportunities. Which is where Splitpoint Solutions was born in 2009.
