I believe that organizational problems require multidisciplinary approaches. Specifically in the nonprofit sector, the most impactful and sustainable solutions come from a thoughtful, strategic approach that draws upon diverse perspectives and real-world expertise.True progress is not achieved through compassion alone, but rather by combining empathy with the right knowledge, resources, and organizational structures. That’s where my experience comes in. I’ve designed a career that amplifies my ability to partner with C-suite executives to make strategic decisions, oversee mission-impacting projects, and maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders. Essentially, I focus on the activities and initiatives that move the organization forward so senior leaders can spend more time in their zones of genius. ▶️ I facilitate seamless communication flow across the organization, craft strategic reports and briefings, liaise directly with the board, prepare meeting agendas, and oversee the onboarding process for new employees. Two things I enjoy most are special projects and supporting programs that positively impact communities. ▶️ One of my favorite projects was overseeing the production of a high-profile farewell event for the outgoing Los Angeles Mayor. I maintained communication with the board while responding to funder inquiries and managing dozens of vendors. In the end, the attendees were thrilled to have 1:1 time with the mayor and thank him personally. ▶️ I also led programmatic support for a small business relief program that disbursed 400+ grants of $5K to small to medium-sized businesses in LA. One of the recipients shared that the grant helped them maintain payroll and obtain new equipment that was vital to the business. This was a touching reminder of why this work is so important. I’m privileged to do work that creates meaningful solutions that drive positive change. I truly believe that non-profits amplify the voices and address the needs of vulnerable populations and this belief is rooted in my own lived experiences.
