As a relief operator at CNRL, I gained valuable hands-on experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, working in the Pelican Lake oilfield. I performed daily tasks such as fluid shots, BS&W sampling, lease upkeep, and polymer creation and distribution. I also troubleshooted and diagnosed well issues, worked with service companies to organize well-down repairs, and trained new field operators in my last shift.I am currently in my second year of the Petroleum Engineering Technology program at SAIT, where I am learning the theoretical and practical skills that will make me an excellent employee in the energy sector. I am also a student-athlete, competing in collegiate hockey and balancing academics and sports. Before enrolling at SAIT, I graduated from NAIT with a diploma in Alternative Energy Technology, where I acquired skills in HelioScope, solar photovoltaic, and wind energy systems. I am passionate about pursuing a career that combines my interests in petroleum and alternative energy, and that contributes to a sustainable and innovative future.
