My position with My Locker is as a contract designer. I work off site where I receive raster logos which I then reinterpret and recreate as a vector files. The logos are then uploaded to My Locker's cloud and used for printers and silkscreeners to produce garments.

I have an extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite and produce illustration and photography for the designs I create. Art direction also becomes my role if the job is too large for me personally and I have to collaborate with other artists. I'm in contact with a number of artists in the area and nationally. I'm a true idea person, one of the best assets I received at RISD was how to problem solve.

Birmingham Mi

Salvation LLC produced men's wear items as in shirts, jeans and accessories. I worked with the owner/ art director to produce the designs we used for our garments. I was also responsible for subcontracting aspects of production that we couldn't do in house such as embroidery. Our website and much of our social media was also maintained by me. I would take our product photographs, edit them and post them in an orchestrated manner on our e-commerce site. Our social media promotion was entirely produced and for the most part maintained by me. I would get followers, advertise our product, and promote our sales and coupons. Besides Salvation LLC's primary use of Facebook and Twitter I'll also created e-mail blasts for our subscribers.

Detroit/ Novi Michigan

While at Shaw Design Group/ Shaw and Slavsky I worked in their digital and design department. My duties were to prepare files for pre-flight/ rip software and then follow the prints through to the CNC routers and assemble. Color correction was a large part of setting up the files with correcting any typos or visual mistakes. I also would lay out the images in templates for the CNCs .The last few years at Shaw I supervised the night shift. My duties in this instance were to maintain the building, issues with the night employees and locking up the building for the night. I also worked directly in maintaining our printers and vinyl cutters including a $500,000 Durst printer.

Troy Michigan

I worked in the produce dept, prepping produce for the floor and keeping our product stocked and perfectly displayed. I became the night shift supervisor which gave me the responsibility to monitor, solve issues, and schedule breaks and lunches as to have our floor occupied for customers needs.

I started assisting with fashion and editorial photographers after my Internship with Art + Commerce. My main job was to maintain the cameras during shoots but I also manipulated and set up lighting. I would also be asked for my opinion on lighting, composition, and other creative input to do with proofs pulled on site. Along with the photography aspects I helped prepare the shoots by doing things like renting vans, picking up models and location scouting.

While at Art + Commerce I maintained their artist's portfolios, followed up locations, and did some gofer work. I would get all the new publications and put their artist's tear sheets in the respective portfolios. I would also review possible photo shoot locations and scout for new ones. As a bonus we were given the opportunity to assist one of their photographers for the day (Terry Richardson).
