I am an all around creative person. I pride myself on problem solving and "thinking outside of the box". I have a Bachelors In Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. I later took classes at Schoolcraft Community College for HTML/CSS to update some skills. I'm naturally compelled to keep learning and am consistently exploring new challenges and arenas of creativity.I'm versed in Adobe's desktop publishing software specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design. I also know basic web design including WordPress and HTML/CSS. As a member of the Adobe Users Group I stay up to date with the advancements in the Adobe software suite.Whether on a Mac or PC I get along fluently. I am also very organized and pride myself on my comprehensive file management system. I have no issues working with or learning new software and enjoy doing so.I view my life and work as one in the same. I believe in the quote that,"if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life." My interests are, contemporary art, , photography, printmaking, graphic design, typography, film, reading and have recently been getting more into web based art. I frequent galleries and contribute to the Detroit art scene by creating Zines, Pop-up art shows, and also including my work in others shows. I like to promote our local talent and to have an occasion to see what my peers are producing.I enjoy the freedom that comes with freelancing but I also like meeting new people and being part of a team. Sharing ideas is one of the fastest and efficient ways to learn. I work off site where I receive raster logos which I then reinterpret and recreate as a vector files. The logos are then uploaded to My Locker's cloud and used for printers and silkscreeners to produce garments.

I worked with the owner/ art director to produce the designs we used for our garments. I was also responsible for subcontracting aspects of production that we couldn't do in house such as embroidery. Our website and much of our social media was also maintained by me. I would take our product photographs, edit them and post them in an orchestrated manner on our e-commerce site. Our social media promotion was entirely produced and for the most part maintained by me. I would get followers, advertise our product, and promote our sales and coupons. Digital Printing/ Design/ Night SupervisorShaw Design Group (Shaw And Slavsky) Sep 2006 - May 2012Detroit/ Novi MichiganWhile at Shaw Design Group/ Shaw and Slavsky I worked in their digital and design department. My duties were to prepare files for pre-flight/ rip software and then follow the prints through to the CNC routers and assemble. Color correction was a large part of setting up the files with correcting any typos or visual mistakes. I also would lay out the images in templates for the CNCs .The last few years at Shaw I supervised the night shift. My duties in this instance were to maintain the building, issues with the night employees and locking up the building for the night. I also worked directly in maintaining our printers and vinyl cutters including a $500,000 Durst printer.
