Security Analyst
CurrentResponsible for configuring, securing, and proactively monitoring security solutions across HPN's managed customer base to safeguard client-sensitive data. Develop and implement security standards and best practices aimed at continuously enhancing the security posture of the organizations we serve. Oversee managed customer deployments and provide proactive maintenance to mitigate exposure and risk.Adhere to day-to-day NOC policies and procedures, including monitoring and promptly responding to alerts generated by HPN security tools. Foster relationships and maintain consistent interactions with customers to ensure service satisfaction. Identify and recommend operational improvements to leadership that enhance HPN's security posture and value to our customers.Coordinate with vendors for updates such as new virus definitions, incident/outbreak management in the network, etc. Stay abreast of IT security trends and emerging attack methods to effectively protect organizations. Research new security technologies to determine their suitability for organizational needs.Cross-train and support other HPN aaS solutions as needed. Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities. Keep abreast of current and future technologies in the industry by reviewing IT publications and online materials.
