Membership Duties:- Retain, recruit, cultivate and manage relationships with current and potential DLP members.- Assist in the development of a new membership program, create new member benefits packages and establish Neon Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software to manage member accounts and invoicing.- Responsible for a 28% membership increase, totaling to over $200,000 in total membership revenue.- Create and organize Lexington’s first Merchant Association and launched its first initiative, the Shop & Celebrate program. Recruited over 30 businesses to participate, secured over $20,000 of media value and facilitated implementation and execution by organizing merchants and hosting district meetings.Marketing Duties:- Manage marketing firm and oversee the rebranding process, which included the creation of a new logo, tagline, and new destination focused website that increased visitor traffic by 12%.- Develop engaging strategic marketing campaigns for downtown development projects, community initiatives and public events such as Thursday Night Live, Mayfest Arts Fair, Bike Lexington, Lexington's Fourth of July Festival and Parade, Fountain Films on Friday, and Luminate Lexington holiday events.- Manage DLP Social Media Accounts increasing following on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as well as increasing total reach by 24% and engagement by 18%. Goals include establishing the new DLP brand, creating brand awareness, and attracting Gen Xers and millennials to free public events.- Build and cultivate media partner relationships which includes managing over $300,000 in media trades with local television, print and radio. Responsibilities also include writing and distributing press releases to media contact lists generating unpaid media impressions.- Design graphics for social media and digital advertisements using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.
